In the kingdom of Cuddleland, there lived a royal family. The royal family had three horses who lived in Cuddleland Castle. Their names were King Henry, Queen Heather, and Princess Helen.
All the inhabitants of Cuddleland wore puffy white diapers. In fact, it was the law that everyone wear a diaper in public. It was also the law that everyone’s diaper be visible in public.
The inhabitants of Cuddleland were called Cuddlelanders. Every Cuddlelander was a mammal with hind legs and a tail. That allowed all Cuddlelanders to wear diapers on their bottoms.
It was easy to understand why the diaper law was a must. Some mammals, like horses, could neither grip nor change a diaper. They needed someone else to change their diapers for them.
A kindly woman squirrel lived with the royal family. Her full name was Sally Squirrel, Lady Fluff. She took good care of King Henry Horse, Queen Heather Horse, and Princess Helen Horse.
Cuddlelanders drank all their meals from bottles. When anyone in the royal family was thirsty, Lady Fluff made some milk. She tailored the milk that she made to whoever needed it.
Cuddlelanders went pee-pee and poo-poo in their diapers. Even the royalty peeped and pooped in their diapers. Lady Fluff changed the royalty’s diapers after they got wet or dirty.
Lady Fluff was like a nurse for the royal family. That was why she was called the royal nurse. She was busy every hour of every day because the royal family needed lots and lots of help.
Cuddleland Castle was in the center of Cuddleland. The castle was made of pink and purple stones that were hard and strong. Pink stood for females, and purple stood for males.
Four different landforms surrounded the castle. There was a meadow to the north, an ocean to the east, a cave to the south, and a grove to the west. There was work to do in each landform.
The Milky Meadow had many animals on its ranches. The Grove of Growth had trees and other types of plant. Milk came from the animals, and diapers and other clothes came from the plants.
The Comfy-Cozy Caverns had many hard stones inside. The Sea of Sanitation had lots of water and salt. Some buildings were made of stone, and the Cuddlelanders needed plenty of water.
There were nine nobles in Cuddleland, and Lady Fluff was one of them. Four nobles gathered materials for what everyone needed. Each of them lived in a landform outside the castle.
Olive Otter, Lady Flesh milked the mammals on the ranch. Buck Beaver, Lord Green cut trees down and gathered plant material. Lady Flesh and Lord Green helped feed the Cuddlelanders.
Micah Mole, Lord Stone dug for stones in the caverns. Olga Otter, Lady Waters dove for salt in the ocean. Lord Stone and Lady Waters helped build wells, dams, and even houses.
Boris Beaver, Lord Bright picked litter up and fought pollution. Rose Raccoon, Lady Labor made materials into products. Lord Bright and Lady Labor were careful enough to protect nature.
The nine nobles cooperated with one another whenever necessary. After all, plants alone were not enough to make a diaper. Similarly, milk alone was not enough to make a bottle.
Sometimes, a Cuddlelander got hurt or needed help right away. Fortunately, Harvey Horse, Lord Lightning was always ready to gallop in. He could carry Cuddlelanders swiftly on his back.
There were twenty-seven peasants in Cuddleland. They took lessons from Sylvia Squirrel, Lady Quill. Many of the peasants were too young to get a job, but they loved Lady Quill’s lessons.
In Cuddleland, no one ever rejected or excluded anyone else for any reason. Everyone needed a little help from time to time, even the royal family. That is why everyone always felt safe.
